Nutrition: Managing References

EndNote, Mendeley, and Zotero

Managing References

Reference (or citation) management software allows you to import references/citations from online databases, organize them into folders, insert them into the body of your research paper in a variety of citation style formats (e.g. APA and MLA), and generate formatted reference lists.

The University Library offers help and instruction on the following reference managers:

  • EndNote/EndNote Web
  • Mendeley
  • Zotero
  • BibTex and LaTex

Further information about Citation Managers, including help guides and video tutorials, is available on the Managing References section of the Library's Citation Style Guide. For further assistance, please use the AskUs online service or contact your liaison librarian.
