Tour the University Library: Murray Tour Schedule

Learn About the Library This Summer

Taking a summer class? The friendly staff at the help desk on the 1st floor of the Murray Library are happy to help you get started on your research by introducing you to the library website and the services available to you in the library.

No need to make an appointment, just come and talk to us at the desk right outside the elevators on the first floor. We are open 10 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday, and 10 am to 4 pm on Fridays.

You can learn about:

  • How to find scholarly journals online
  • How to find books in the library
  • Tips and tricks on using the website
  • How to book group study rooms and how to find quiet spaces in the library
  • Upcoming workshops to get a smart start to the school year
  • Where to go for writing help or math & stats help

Undergraduate and graduate students are all welcome. We can answer all of your questions and focus on what you want to learn.
