The quickest way to find all of the dictionaries that we have available in a certain language at the library is to do a subject search in the library's catalogue for "English Language - Dictionaries", but replacing the word "English" with whichever language you're looking for. The example below, "French Language - Dictionaries" will give you over 100 results for French language dictionaries.
In the library's catalogue, do a subject search for "English Language - Dictionaries - Dutch". Switch out the second language for your desired language, such as "English Language - Dictionaries - Cree" or "English Language - Dictionaries - Chinese" to see the bilingual dictionaries available in those languages.
All library locations will have dictionaries available for quick look-ups in their reference collections. These will be listed in our catalogue as "LIB USE ONLY". This means that you can only use them within the library. They cannot be checked out. The majority of our dictionaries in languages other than English will be found at the Murray Library or the Education & Music Library.
If you'd like a bilingual dictionary that you can check out and take away with you, many are found in the Murray Library, 3rd Floor North Wing.
