Mendeley Reference Manager
Step 1: register a Mendeley account
Register a Mendeley account if you don't have one: you need an account to use Mendeley.
On Mendeley website, click "Create account" to register.
Step 2: install Mendeley Reference Manager
To install Mendeley Reference Manager on your own computer:
- Click the Download button on Mendeley Website
- Download Mendeley Reference Manager for Windows, MacOS, or Linux
- Install the downloaded file on your computer.
- Open Mendeley Reference Manager on your computer, sign in with your Mendeley account, and start to use it!

Note: Software Center requires the VPN to be connected when away from the campus network. Information on how to configure a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection on a University-managed Windows computer.
- Open Software Center.
- Type Mendeley Reference Manager in the search box, and click search button. Mendeley Reference Manger will appear. Click it to install.
- Open Mendeley Reference Manager on your computer, sign in with your Mendeley account, and start to use it!
