New Updates!

In preparation for the reopening of the Murray and Leslie and Irene Dubé Health Sciences libraries on Tuesday, August 3, we will be returning to pre-pandemic procedures for requested items. See our news post for more details.

What does this mean for you?

We now have three pickup locations for you to choose from:

  • The Murray Library
  • The Leslie and Irene Dubé Health Sciences Library
  • Distance Learners (Choose this option to have the requested item mailed to you. You must first register for Distance and Distributed Library Services in order to receive a mailed item.)

Choose your preferred location from the drop down menu when you request items.

You will no longer need to go to the Contactless Pickup area in the Murray breezeway to collect your items. Requested items will now be held for you behind the service desks in the library location of your choice and you will have to present your library card when you check out your items from a staff member.

Once you’re done with them, borrowed items can be returned to the following library locations inside of campus buildings: Murray, Education and Music, Science and the Leslie and Irene Dubé Health Sciences libraries. The book drop at the Murray Library loading dock will also continue to remain available for after-hours book returns.

From the University Library

This guide will help you locate USask library services and resources that are available during the university's period of increased activity. Please refer to this helpful Quick Guide to Services for a complete list of current library services and availability. We are here to help!

Limited study space is available for current students on the ground floor of the Murray Library. All other library locations remain closed.

Self-Service Contactless Pickup (ends August 3), Scan and Send service, and Distance and Distributed Library Services are available for accessing the library's physical collections. Other library services continue to be supported by library faculty and staff working remotely.

Connecting from Off Campus

Our online resources are available 24/7, but to access most of them, you'll need to make sure you're logged in to the library's website first using your NSID and password. We have many tools available to make this as easy as possible! View our Connect from Home page for more details.

Not sure where to start? We also have a guide on which search tool to use.
