Contactless Pickup at the Library

Items from any University Library location can be requested for scanning or for pick up. University Archives and Special Collections offers select digital access, but remains closed.

USask students, instructors, faculty or employees located in Canada who are unable to come to campus to borrow books through Contactless Pickup can now register to have print library materials delivered to their residence, free of charge. The email will also include instructions to follow upon arriving at the Murray Library doors facing the Arts Tower.

Contactless Pickup Directions

Once you received the confirmation email that the items you requested are ready to be picked up at the Murray Library, what do you do?

Go to the Murray Library. Here is the Murray Building as seen from Campus Drive. Head left to the main entrance.

Approach the entrance facing the Arts Tower. Circled are the main entrance doors where you can pick up your books.

Or, if you're walking from elsewhere on campus, come up to Murray via the rainbow road between the Gordon Oakes Red Bear and Arts buildings.

As you approach the library, you will see green shields on the pavement. These are physical distancing markers. Please wait your turn if there is a lineup.

When you reach the left-hand door, show your photo ID to our staff members through the window.

Once staff members have confirmed your ID, move to the doors on the right without touching anything.

Our staff members will automatically open the doors from the inside.

There's no need to go in the building! Retrieve your books from the table just inside the doors.

That's it! You can now head home. Thanks for using our contactless pickup service!
