Scan and Send at the Library is now available for everyone with a valid University Library account. Portions of items such as a book chapter, a print article, or select pages from a book can be scanned and delivered via email. Scans must adhere to Fair Dealing Guidelines.
For borrowing physical items in our collection, refer to our Self-Service Contactless Pickup page.
For requesting items that are not part of the University Library's collection, refer to Interlibrary Loans.
Please allow up to five business days for your request to be filled, some items may take longer to process than others, such as those from the Library Annex or St. Thomas More collection. You will receive an email from the library with instructions and a link to access your article as soon as it is ready.
The email will include a link that you can click on which will take you to the login page. You will need to log in with your NSID and password and choose the Request Unit that you originally made the request on ["Chapter or Article Scan (USask Owned Items)"]. Then you can click on My Requests to view each of your Scan and Send requests. There will be a small link included in your request details that says PDF. Click on that to open your file.
