Data Analysis & Synthesis
Synthesis is the stage of the review process where extracted data is analyzed and evaluated. This may be done qualitatively (e.g., meta-synthesis, narrative approach) and/or pooled together for quantitative analysis (e.g., meta-analysis).
Data synthesis is a significant stage in the review process, as it determines the outcomes and implications of the review.
