As a part of a formal commitment to mandatory Treaty education in Saskatchewan, the Office of the Treaty Commissioner, the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education and the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations introduced the first Treaty Resource Kit in 2008.The Elementary Treaty Resource Kit and Secondary Treaty Resource Kit are available through the Office of the Treaty Commissioner. Treaty Resource Kits are designed to provide teachers with information to teach about treaties.

Access to Treaty Resource Kits during COVID 19

While USask Libraries remain closed during the COVID 19 pandemic, we have complied this guide of the resources contained in the Treaty Resource Kits that are available in electronic format. Unfortunately, there is no electronic access to some of the items contained in the Treaty Resource Kits.
