Read&Write Software Guide: Home
What is Read&Write software?
According to the Read&Write website, "Read&Write is a literacy support tool that offers help with everyday tasks like reading text out loud, understanding unfamiliar words, researching assignments and proofing written work."
This software is available to all current students, staff, and faculty at the University of Saskatchewan.
- Download Read&WriteOnce you get to the Texthelp website, choose the download file based on your current device. If you choose the base software (the version for Windows, for example), some browsers, like Chrome and Firefox, will suggest also downloading plugins to make Read&Write compatible with them.
Important: Whichever version you end up using, you'll want to ensure you're choosing "Sign in with Microsoft" during setup as that will lead you to being able to login with your USask email (abd123@usask.ca). If you're already logged into PAWS when you press "Sign in with Microsoft," the software might automate this step.
