To save searches in MEDLINE Ovid, you'll need to create a personal account with Ovid.
Once you are signed in, to save a search, follow these steps:
To re-run your saved search, follow these steps:
Click "Share Search History" on the bottom right of your search history. Choose "Copy Search History Link" and paste this into your Consultation Planning Form.
The file will be in your downloads. You can move it and/or change the file name, but do not attempt to open it. The file must be imported into a program that can read the file type (i.e., Covidence or a reference manager).

To re-run your saved search, click "Retrieve Searches" at the top of your search history. Find the search in your list and click "Retrieve Saved Search."
You will receive an email with a link to download the RIS file. It may take some time to come through (up to an hour). The file will be in a zipped folder in your downloads once you click on the link, which needs to be unzipped before you attempt to import it to a program. Once extracted, you can move the file and/or change the file name, but do not attempt to open it. The file must be imported into a program that can read the file type (i.e., Covidence or a reference manager).
