The English Language and Skills Help Guide aims to help students with English as an additional language (EAL) master their English and language skills and find their academic voice, while balancing the needs of their intended audience.

As an immigrant woman, I am grateful for the opportunity to live, study and work in these lands situated on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis. I work, daily, toward paying respect to the First Nations and Métis ancestors of this place and reaffirming our relationship with one another.​
