Standards with Plumb's - including Plumb's Veterinary Drugs content - is accessible on your tablet, smartphone, and computer. It is continually updated so you have the most current information available to help you make more informed drug decisions.
Readily find dosing information for the drugs you prescribe every day with quick, easy access to the most up-to-date version of Plumb's, wherever you practice.
NOTE: Faculty members can set up individual accounts to access the app by emailing the Veterinary Medicine liaison librarian, who will facilitate access. Students wanting access to the app can subscribe to Plumb's individual plan at a student rate of $19.95 USD. Students should use the Subscription form to verify student status to receive a discount code prior to subscribing, and each year thereafter, in order to keep the student rate while in school. Veterinary technicians are not eligible for individual accounts or access to the app, but can access Plumb's through the library site.
Access is restricted to current students, faculty, and staff of the University of Saskatchewan for educational, research, and non-commercial personal use. Systematic copying or downloading of electronic resource content is not permitted by Canadian and international copyright law.
Licensed veterinary professionals in Saskatchewan can sign up for access to a sub-set of the University Library's electronic resources through SHIRP (Saskatchewan Health Information Resources Program).
Although the resources available through SHIRP are focused on human health, many of them are also valuable to veterinarians and veterinary technicians, e.g. Medline, RxTx, RxFiles, Natural Medicines, and READ by QxMD, as well as a number of online journals and e-books.
Mobile apps are available for some of the resources. Interlibrary Loan for journal articles not in SHIRP's collection is available free of charge.
The University of Saskatchewan's main campus is situated on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis.
