Licensed veterinary professionals in Saskatchewan can sign up for access to a sub-set of the University Library's electronic resources through SHIRP (Saskatchewan Health Information Resources Program).
Although the resources available through SHIRP are focused on human health, many of them are also valuable to veterinarians and veterinary technicians, e.g. Medline, RxTx, RxFiles, Natural Medicines, and READ by QxMD, as well as a number of online journals and e-books.
Mobile apps are available for some of the resources. Interlibrary Loan for journal articles not in SHIRP's collection is available free of charge.
Welcome to the Veterinary Medicine research guide. This guide is designed to highlight key veterinary medicine resources available via the University of Saskatchewan Library.
