Reference / Citation Managers

Reference management software allows you to record, organize and use bibliographic references for your research and assignments.

It will also allow you to create and format bibliographies in many different citation styles - saving you lots of time!

Selected reference managers include EndNote, Zotero and Mendeley MyBib is a free reference manager that can be used with Chromebooks.

Citation Style for Dentistry

The citation style most often used in Dentistry is the one used by the Journal of Dental Research.  This citations style is based on the 8th edition of the CSE Manual for Authors, Editors, and Publishers

Vancouver Style, established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors is also known as the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals.  It is often used in scienfic and medical journals.
