Research Junction

As part of the Research Junction partnership, USask researchers can work with the Data & GIS Librarian to gain access to data produced by City of Saskatoon divisions and departments.

Details:

City governments collect and produce data to support planning, operations, and decision making in their communities. While some of these data may be available online through websites and open data portals, in some cases data are held only by the government departments that use them. A data sharing agreement between the University of Saskatchewan and the City of Saskatoon allows USask students, faculty, and staff to request and access many of these less visible datasets through the University Library. Researchers are invited to contact the Data & GIS Librarian to discuss their data needs and determine if a data request to the City of Saskatoon is possible.
