Reference (or citation) management software allows you to import references/citations from online databases, organize them into folders, insert them into the body of your research paper in a variety of citation style formats, and generate formatted reference lists.
The University Library also offers individual help and instruction for reference managers. Submit your question here or contact the liaison librarian for Veterinary Medicine.

Not sure which citation manager to use? We've created a handy comparison chart to help you decide.
During the academic term the Library offers free workshops for graduate and undergraduate students to help you learn more about citation managers and how they can help you save time and stay organized. You will learn the basics from importing and organizing references, to creating bibliographies.
If you can't attend a live workshop, you can watch the recording of it at another time.
The University of Saskatchewan's main campus is situated on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis.
