Near the end of your Research Grant's timeline, you may find yourself in a situation where funding will be cut-off before you are able to complete your research. This can happen for many different reasons; if it does happen, it is important to be proactive about requesting an extension if completing the project in the assigned timeframe is no longer possible. In this case, contact a Research Support Specialist (nicole.benning@usask.ca or laurie.schimpf@usask.ca) in Research Services and CC the Financial Analyst three months prior to your fund's end date. This will help to ensure enough time to request and process any granted extensions and avoid funding being cutoff due to insufficient warning.
