  • 2013 - digital

Government of Canada web site - best for current material

The Government of Canada website and the Departments and Agencies sites usually have documents from the past 2-5 years. Not everything is available on their web sites.

Older Government of Canada Web Sites

  • Government Sites 2005 - present    collected by Library and Archives Canada, 2005 onwards
  • Government Sites  2014 - present by Libraries  participating in CGI-DPN
  • Government Sites 2013 - Collected by: University of Toronto

Historical Note

Historically, these publications have been provided courtesy of the Government of Canada through the Depository Services Program in which the University of Saskatchewan is a Full Depository Library. The DSP played a vital role in making government information available across Canada.  By 2013 more than 90% of the federal government publications were available electronically leading to the closure of the DSP program.
