The Open Data Project is a Government of Canada project to make as much of its data publicly and freely accessible and available for re-use.
Almost all of the datasets - including geospatial data - in this service were already available from individual departments but they have been conveniently aggregated in a way that users can use a single search box to locate them. Departments continue to add datasets and the service itself continues to improve based on user feedback.
The University of Saskatchewan's main campus is situated on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis.
