The SICC protects, preserves, and promotes the cultures and languages of the First Nations people of Saskatchewan. They develop resources for and support the teaching of Plains Cree, Swampy Cree, Woodland Cree, Saulteaux, Dene, Nakota, Dakota, and Lakota.
GDI has published or produced more than 80 Métis-specific books and educational resources since the early 1980s. They also maintain a Métis-specific library system and a Virtual Museum where rare and out-of-print materials can be accessed online.
Database and platform that shares Saskatchewan First Nations traditional place names. SICC encourages Saskatchewan First Nations to engage in their own traditional place names projects that are Elder led.
