Clinical Medicine: Request print or interlibrary loan materials be mailed to you

How to Request Items

All University of Saskatchewan students, faculty and staff (including medical residents, clerks and students on placement) can request that print items held by the University Library, or interlibrary loan materials, be sent to their home through ExpressPost.  Medical residents and health sciences students doing rotations/practicums outside their usual city of residence (but within Canada) are able to have items shipped to them at this temporary location, as long as they update their address with the service.  Books will be mailed with a postage paid return label. Journal articles will be scanned and emailed.

To use these services, ensure you have registered your current shipping address using the Registration Form. Please update as required.

Print book requests: To request books and all other material (excluding articles) please visit the Catalogue to request your item.

  1. Find the item in the catalogue.  Click on the title and then the "Request Item for Pickup" button
  2. Select "Distance Learners" for the pickup location

Articles held only in print at the University Library:  For articles which are not available to you electronically, and which are held in print at the University Library, use the Scan and Send service.

Items not held by the University Library:  For any materials not held by the University Library, please use our Interlibrary Loan service.
