Getting Started in Grad School: 3.2 Learning Outcomes

Use the knowledge that "our brains get better at things we do the most," to become a more effective learner in grad school. In this module, you will gain insight into learning expectations placed on graduate students.

By the end of this module, you should be able to

• outline what is expected of you in your courses and by your program,
• recognize the skills associated with grad studies,
• assess whether you have skills gaps,
• develop a personalized plan to address skills gaps, and
• develop a plan for independent growth and learning specific to help-seeking, communication, and collaborative learning skills.
